Chicking UAE Draw Our Bag Competition 2026 | Win a MacBook Air

Chicking UAE has launched a new creative competition inviting young creatives across the UAE to design its next takeaway bag, with the winner receiving a brand-new MacBook Air and the opportunity to see their artwork printed on Chicking bags across the UAE.

The “Draw Our Bag” campaign gives participants the freedom to create their designs digitally or by hand. Entrants are required to download the official Chicking bag template and brand assets before creating their artwork and submitting it through the official campaign website.

Design the Next Chicking Bag

The competition is built around a simple idea: “We make the chicken. You make the bag.”

Participants can develop an original design that reflects their creativity while remaining relevant to the Chicking brand. The submitted artwork can be hand-drawn or digitally created, but entries must be submitted as a high-resolution JPG or PNG at a minimum of 300 DPI, with a maximum file size of 25 MB.

Shortlisted finalists may later be required to provide their layered or vector source files.

Who Can Participate?

The competition is open to young creatives based in the UAE, with the campaign submission form collecting details including the participant's name, age, emirate, email address and mobile number.

The official rules also state that Chicking employees, franchisees, creative or marketing agencies and their immediate families are excluded. Only one entry per person is permitted.

Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

What Makes a Winning Design?

According to the official judging criteria, entries will be evaluated primarily on three areas:

• Originality – 40%

• Brand relevance – 30%

• Print feasibility – 30%

This means a successful design needs to be more than visually attractive. It should be original, connect naturally with Chicking's identity and work effectively when reproduced on a physical food bag.

Chicking also recommends keeping the artwork to around 3–4 bold solid colours, as gradients, heavy shadows and subtle watercolour effects may not reproduce well on packaging.

Participants must also keep the designated Chicking logo area clear so the official logo remains fully visible.

Grand Prize: MacBook Air

The grand prize winner will receive a brand-new MacBook Air. More importantly for aspiring designers, the winning artwork will be printed on Chicking bags across the UAE for a limited promotional run, with artist credit included in marketing.

Five runners-up will receive AED 100 Chicking meal vouchers and social media recognition.

The competition will also highlight the Top 6 finalists, giving shortlisted creatives additional exposure.

Important Deadline

The Chicking campaign website currently lists September 20, 2026 as the entry closing date and October 2, 2026 as the winner announcement date.

However, the downloadable official guidelines currently show different dates — September 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM GST for entries and September 30, 2026 for the winner announcement. Because of this discrepancy, participants should check the official campaign page and guidelines immediately before submitting and follow the latest deadline confirmed by Chicking.

Original Work Is Required

One of the most important requirements is originality.

Entries must be the participant's own original work and cannot contain third-party logos, copyrighted characters, AI-generated content or offensive material.

This is particularly important for anyone considering using generative AI to create the artwork. The official guidelines explicitly prohibit AI content, so participants should not submit an AI-generated bag design.

Chicking Will Use the Winning Design

The competition terms also address intellectual property. By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that the artwork is original and grants Chicking an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, print, publish, display, adapt and modify the design for the competition, packaging, marketing, advertising, social media and related promotional purposes.

Participants retain ownership of their designs and may use them for non-commercial personal purposes, including portfolios, resumes and educational applications.

To participate:

1. Visit the official Draw Our Bag campaign website : chickingcampaign.com

2. Read the official guidelines and terms.

3. Download the Chicking bag template.

4. Download the official Chicking brand assets.

5. Create your original bag artwork.

6. Save the final design as JPG or PNG at a minimum of 300 DPI.

7. Upload the design through the official submission form.

8. Complete your personal details and declarations.

9. Submit the entry before the applicable closing deadline.

Social media sharing is optional. The guidelines encourage participants to share their work on Instagram or TikTok using @Chickingae and #DrawOurBag for additional visibility.
