Dubai announces New Year holiday for public sector employees

Dubai's Human Resources Department has announced that Wednesday, January 1, 2025, will be a public holiday for government employees in observance of the New Year. Regular working hours will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025. This announcement excludes departments and institutions that operate on a shift system or are essential for public services.
