Dubai Completes AED 277M Sewer & Drainage Upgrade
Dubai Municipality has finalized a significant sewerage and rainwater drainage network in Nad Al Sheba 3, investing AED 277 million to cover around 340 hectares and link approximately 300 land plots.
🛠️ What Was Built:
24 km of main sewage pipelines (diameters between 200–800 mm)
11 km of household connections connecting homes and buildings directly to the network
31 km of gravity-driven rainwater drains (diameters 250–1,500 mm)
A high-capacity pumping station capable of handling 4,000 litres per second, ensuring smooth water flow during heavy rain
