Dubai has announced a landmark edition of its internationally recognized Quran recitation competition, now offering $1 million each to the top boy and girl Quran reciters under the age of 16. Two Grand Winners: For the first time, both a male and a female participant will be crowned champions and awarded $1 million each, celebrating gender balance and recognition.
Open to All Nationalities: The competition welcomes global participation, inviting children from any nationality to compete on the same platform.
Record-Breaking Prize Pool: With over AED 12 million in total prizes, this year’s edition stands as the most valuable in the competition’s history.

Full Quran Memorization for Boys
Full Quran Memorization for Girls
Islamic Personality of the Year – recognizing individuals or institutions who have made impactful contributions to the Islamic world through education, charity, or public service.
📝 How to Participate
Eligibility: Applicants must be aged 16 or younger, and must not have previously reached the final round or been honored in earlier editions of this award.
Submission: A short 3-minute video must be uploaded by each participant showcasing their Quran recitation, highlighting their mastery of Tajweed, memorization accuracy, and voice quality.
Deadline to Apply: Applications will be accepted until July 20.
🗓️ Competition Timeline
Video Screening Phase: From July 1 to July 31, submitted videos will be reviewed and shortlisted.
Remote Testing Phase: Qualified applicants will undergo further assessments remotely between September 1 and September 30.
Final Round in Dubai: Top contestants will be invited for in-person judging during the second week of Ramadan 2026, where final winners will be announced.

A distinguished panel of scholars and Quranic experts will oversee the evaluation. These judges, known for their experience in international Quran competitions and deep knowledge of Quranic recitation methods (Qira’at), will ensure transparency, fairness, and the highest standards of judging.
