Dubai Unveils the Floating Museum of Art: A New Icon Over the Creek
Dubai has announced one of its most ambitious cultural projects to date — the Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA) — a breathtaking floating structure that will rise majestically over Dubai Creek, symbolizing the city’s vision to blend tradition with futuristic innovation.
A Floating Masterpiece Designed by Tadao Ando
Designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the Dubai Museum of Art will be a five-storey structure floating on water, featuring a striking circular opening at its center that allows natural light to flood the interior.
The design represents the spirit of a pearl inside its shell, paying tribute to the UAE’s pearl-diving heritage while embracing contemporary minimalism.
